149. Are there examples in the Holy Books where God gives physical healing to people?
the Bible Yes
No the Quran
the Bible's Perspective
Exodus 15:26He said, “If you will diligently listen to the LORD your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.”
Matthew 4:23Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness amongst the people.
Matthew 14:36and they begged him that they might just touch the fringe of his garment. As many as touched it were made whole.
Acts 5:15-16They even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mattresses, so that as Peter came by, at least his shadow might overshadow some of them. The multitude also came together from the cities around Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits; and they were all healed.
1 Corinthians 12:28-30God has set some in the assembly: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?
the Quran's Perspective
There are 26 recorded healings by Jesus alone in the New Testament, but there are no examples of God giving any physical healing to people in the Qur'an during Muhammad’s lifetime.
