Bulugh al-Maram, Book 6, Hadith 749 (English) ⓘ
Zaid bin Thabit (RAA) narrated, ‘When the Messenger of Allah intended to make Ihram for Hajj, he would wash, and take off his ordinary clothes (and put on his white Ihram)." Related by At-Tirmidhi who declared it to be Hadith-Hasan.
وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -تَجَرَّدَ لِإِهْلَالِهِ وَاغْتَسَلَ } رَوَاهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَحَسَّنَهُ 1. 1 - حسن. رواه الترمذي ( 830 )، وقال: حسن غريب. قلت: وله شاهدان عن عائشة، وابن عباس خرجتهما في " الأصل ".
