Bulugh al-Maram, Book 1, Hadith 140 (In-Book) ⓘ

Narrated ‘Ali (rad): The Prophet used to teach us the Qur’an except when he was in a state of sexual impurity. [Reported by Ahmad and Al-Arba’a. This is the version of At-Tirmidhi who graded it Hasan (fair). And Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (sound)].

وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-يُقْرِئُنَا اَلْقُرْآنَ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ جُنُبًا } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ, وَهَذَا لَفْظُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيِّ وَحَسَّنَةُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّان َ (141)‏.‏ ‏2 ‏- ضعيف.‏ رواه أبو داود (229)‏، والنسائي (144)‏، والترمذي (146)‏، ابن ماجه (594)‏، وأحمد (1/83)‏، وابن حبان (799)‏.‏ ولبعضهم ألفاظ أخر.‏
