Bulugh al-Maram, Book 1, Hadith 68 (In-Book) ⓘ

Narrated Mughira bin Shu’ba (rad): Once I was in the company of the Prophet, he then performed ablution and I dashed to take off his socks. He said, “Leave them for I had put them on after performing ablution”. So he wiped over them [Agreed Upon].

عَنْ اَلْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: { كُنْتُ مَعَ اَلنَّبِيِّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-فَتَوَضَّأَ, فَأَهْوَيْتُ لِأَنْزِعَ خُفَّيْهِ, فَقَالَ: "دَعْهُمَا, فَإِنِّي أَدْخَلْتُهُمَا طَاهِرَتَيْنِ" فَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ (74)‏.‏ ‏3 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه البخاري (206)‏، ومسلم (274)‏ (79)‏.‏
