Bulugh al-Maram, Book 11, Hadith 1300 (In-Book) ⓘ

Jubair bin Mut'im (RAA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah said concerning the prisoners of war taken at Badr, “If al-Mut’am bin ’Adi had been alive and spoken to me about those filthy ones(as they were polytheists), I would have freed them for him. Related by Al-Bukhari.

وَعَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعَمٍ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-قَالَ فِي أُسَارَى بَدْرٍ: { " لَوْ كَانَ اَلْمُطْعَمُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ حَيًّا, ثُمَّ كَلَّمَنِي فِي هَؤُلَاءِ اَلنَّتْنَى لَتَرَكْتُهُمْ لَهُ" } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 1‏.‏ ‏1 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه البخاري ( 3139 )‏.‏
