Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah, Book 25, Hadith 158 (English) ⓘ

Abu Hurayrah Radiyallahu 'Anhu says: "Meat was sent to Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam from someone. From it the forequarter was presented to Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam. He loved this portion (of the meat too). Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam tore the meat with his teeth and ate it". (He did not use a knife to cut it).

حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ‏:‏ أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِلَحْمٍ، فَرُفِعَ إِلَيْهِ الذِّرَاعُ، وَكَانَتْ تُعْجِبُهُ، فَنَهَسَ مِنْهَا‏.‏
