Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah, Book 8, Hadith 63 (In-Book) ⓘ

Abu Juhayfah (R.A) says, "I saw Rasulullah (S.A.W) wearing a pair of red (coloured) clothing. The lustre of the feet of Rasulullah (S.A.W) is still before me." Sufyaan (R.A) who is a narrator of this hadith says: "According to my understanding the pair (of clothing) was printed red."

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَعَلَيْهِ حُلَّةٌ حَمْرَاءُ، كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَرِيقِ سَاقَيْهِ‏.‏
