Quran 54, Al-Qamar (The Moon) ⓘ
54:1The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent in twain.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ
54:2And if they behold a portent they turn away and say: Prolonged illusion.
وَإِنْ يَرَوْا آيَةً يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا سِحْرٌ مُسْتَمِرٌّ
54:3They denied (the Truth) and followed their own lusts. Yet everything will come to a decision
وَكَذَّبُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ مُسْتَقِرٌّ
54:4And surely there hath come unto them news whereof the purport should deter,
وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ مِنَ الْأَنْبَاءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ
54:5Effective wisdom; but warnings avail not.
حِكْمَةٌ بَالِغَةٌ فَمَا تُغْنِ النُّذُرُ
54:6So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) on the day when the Summoner summoneth unto a painful thing.
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ الدَّاعِ إِلَى شَيْءٍ نُكُرٍ
54:7With downcast eyes, they come forth from the graves as they were locusts spread abroad,
خُشَّعًا أَبْصَارُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُنْتَشِرٌ
