Quran 72, Al-Jinn (The Jinn) ⓘ
This chapter (sura) of the Quran is thought to be written in the mid-Meccan period sometime between 618 and 620 and is made up of 28 verses or 'aya'. Current translation is Pickthall.
72:8And (the Jinn who had listened to the Qur'an said): We had sought the heaven but had found it filled with strong warders and meteors.
وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاءَ فَوَجَدْنَاهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا
