An-Najm (The Star) 53:38

أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى

Transliteration

Alla taziru waziratun wizra okhra

Ahmad Ali

That no one who carries a burden bears another's load;

Ali Qarai

that no bearer shall bear another’s burden,

Amhad Khan

That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden?

Arberry

That no soul laden bears the load of another,

Corpus Quran

That not will bear a bearer of burdens (the) burden (of) another,

Daryabadi

To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another.

That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another.
