Allah's Strategy

When We grant people mercy after hardship, they plot against Our signs. Say, “Allah is swifter in plotting.” Our messengers record all they plot.

10:21And when We cause mankind to taste of mercy after some adversity which had afflicted them, behold! they have some plot against Our revelations. Say: Allah is more swift in plotting. Lo! Our messengers write down that which ye plot.

They plotted, but their schemes are known to Allah, even if their plans could move mountains.

14:46Verily they have plotted their plot, and their plot is with Allah, though their plot were one whereby the mountains should be moved.

They plotted, but Allah also plotted, and Allah is the best of plotters.

3:54And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers.

8:30And when those who disbelieve plot against thee (O Muhammad) to wound thee fatally, or to kill thee or to drive thee forth; they plot, but Allah (also) plotteth; and Allah is the best of plotters.

27:50So they plotted a plot: and We plotted a plot, while they perceived not.

So, observe the outcome of their plot. We destroyed them and their people altogether.

27:51Then see the nature of the consequence of their plotting, for lo! We destroyed them and their people, every one.

Those before them plotted, but ultimate plotting belongs to Allah. He knows what every soul earns, and the disbelievers will know who will have the final home.

13:42Those who were before them plotted; but all plotting is Allah's. He knoweth that which each soul earneth. The disbelievers will come to know for whom will be the sequel of the (heavenly) Home.

Whether We show you part of what We promise them or take you in death, your duty is only to convey, and Ours is the reckoning.

13:40Whether We let thee see something of that which We have promised them, or make thee die (before its happening), thine is but conveyance (of the message). Ours the reckoning.

Is He not the One who responds to the desperate when they call upon Him, removes their hardship, and makes you inheritors of the earth?

27:62Is not He (best) Who answereth the wronged one when he crieth unto Him and removeth the evil, and hath made you viceroys of the earth? Is there any Allah beside Allah? Little do they reflect!

Is He not the One who guides you through the darkness of land and sea, and sends the winds as good news before His mercy?

27:63Is not He (best) Who guideth you in the darkness of the land and the sea, He Who sendeth the winds as heralds of His mercy? Is there any Allah beside Allah? High Exalted be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)!

Allah is swift in reckoning.

2:202For them there is in store a goodly portion out of that which they have earned. Allah is swift at reckoning.

3:19Lo! religion with Allah (is) the Surrender (to His Will and Guidance). Those who (formerly) received the Scripture differed only after knowledge came unto them, through transgression among themselves. Whoso disbelieveth the revelations of Allah (will find that) lo! Allah is swift at reckoning.

Remember when you were on the near side of the valley, and they were on the far side, with the caravan below you.

8:42When ye were on the near bank (of the valley) and they were on the yonder bank, and the caravan was below you (on the coast plain). And had ye trysted to meet one another ye surely would have failed to keep the tryst, but (it happened, as it did, without the forethought of either of you) that Allah might conclude a thing that must be done; that he who perished (on that day) might perish by a clear proof (of His Sovereignty) and he who survived might survive by a clear proof (of His Sovereignty). Lo! Allah in truth is Hearer, Knower.

Allah showed them to you in your dream as few. Had He shown them as many, you would have faltered and disputed in the matter. But Allah saved you, He knows what is within hearts.

8:43When Allah showed them unto thee (O Muhammad) in thy dream as few in number, and if He had shown them to thee as many, ye (Muslims) would have faltered and would have quarrelled over the affair. But Allah saved (you). Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts (of men).

And when you met them, He made them appear few in your eyes, and made you appear few in theirs, so that Allah might fulfil His decree. To Allah all matters return.

8:44And when He made you (Muslims), when ye met (them), see them with your eyes as few, and lessened you in their eyes, (it was) that Allah might conclude a thing that must be done. Unto Allah all things are brought back.

The hypocrites and those with diseased hearts said, “God and His Messenger promised us nothing but deception.”

33:12And when the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, were saying: Allah and His messenger promised us naught but delusion.
