Allah's Character

He has the power to gather them whenever He wills.

He is the Most High.

Allah has the highest attributes.

The truth comes from your Lord, so do not be among those who doubt.

Say, “Truth has come from your Lord. Whoever wills, let him believe.

Say: “My Lord hurls the truth.

Say: “The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin nor restore anything.”

That is Allah, your true Lord. What is there beyond truth except error?

Say, “Shall I take a protector other than Allah. He feeds but is never in need of food.”

Every soul has a guardian watching over it.

Whoever Allah allows to stray will have no protector after Him. You will see the wrongdoers saying, “Is there a way back?”

No one can intercede except by His permission. This is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Will you not reflect?

My protector is Allah, who has revealed the Book, and He protects the righteous.

Whoever does wrong will be held accountable, and none will find refuge beyond Allah.

And that you have no protector or helper besides Him?

Allah is the Guardian of those who believe; He brings them out of darkness into light.

Say: “In whose hand is the dominion of all things, who protects, yet none can protect against Him, if you truly know?”

When My servants ask about Me, tell them I am near.

Though We are closer than you realize, yet you do not see

We created man, and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than his jugular vein.

Indeed, Allah’s help is always near.

He reigns supreme over His servants.

It is Allah who splits the seed and the date stone.

He causes the dawn to break.

There is nothing like Him.

Say, ‘O Allah, Master of all dominion! You grant power to whom You will and take it away from whom You will. You honour whom You will and humble whom You will. In Your hand is all good.

Say, “If Allah were to take away your hearing and sight and seal your hearts, who but Allah could restore them?” See how We clarify the signs, yet they turn away.

That is easy for Allah.

Endowed with power, standing firm before the Lord of the Throne

Obeyed and trustworthy.

To Allah belong the east and the west, wherever you turn, there is the presence of Allah.

Say, “I stand upon clear proof from my Lord, yet you reject it. The judgment is with Allah alone. He declares the truth, and He is the best of judges.”

Say, “If I had control over what you seek to hasten, the matter would already be settled between us.

He knows all that is in the land and sea. Not a leaf falls without His knowledge, nor a grain in the darkness of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry, except that it is recorded in a clear Book.

They plotted, but Allah also plotted, and Allah is the best of plotters.

Remember when the disbelievers plotted against you, to imprison, kill, or expel you. They plotted, but Allah also plotted, and Allah is the best of plotters.

When We grant people mercy after hardship, they plot against Our signs. Say, “Allah is swifter in plotting.” Our messengers record all they plot.

Did they feel safe from Allah’s plan? None feels secure from Allah’s plan except those who are truly lost.

When Allah decrees, none can repel it.

You cannot harm Him in the least.

Those who believe in falsehood and deny Allah are the true losers.”

What harm would come to them if they believed in Allah and the Last Day and gave from what He provided them?

‘Our Lord, You will surely gather all people on a Day that is beyond doubt. Allah never fails in His promise.

And it is your Lord who will gather them all together.

Then to their Lord, they (creatures) will be gathered.

To Allah is the final return.

Whoever hopes to meet Allah, the appointed time is coming.

It will be rewarded for what it earns and held accountable for what it commits. The believers pray: ‘Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or make mistakes. Our Lord, do not place upon us a burden like that placed upon those before us. Our Lord, do not impose upon us what we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so grant us victory over those who deny the truth.’

Do you think you will enter Paradise without being tested like those before you? They were afflicted with hardship and adversity and shaken to their core, until even the messenger and the believers with him cried out, ‘When will Allah’s help come?’ Indeed, Allah’s help is always near.

As for the believers, Jews, Sabaeans, Christians, Magians, and polytheists, Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection.

Yet others say, ‘Our Lord, grant us goodness in this world and in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.’

These will receive their portion from what they have earned.

The love of desires, women, children, hoarded gold and silver, fine horses, livestock, and fertile land has been made appealing to people. These are the pleasures of worldly life, but with Allah lies the finest return.

If Allah touches you with hardship, none can remove it but Him. And if He grants you good, He alone has power over all things.

If you avoid the major sins that you are forbidden, We will erase your minor sins and admit you into a noble entrance.

Say, “My Lord has forbidden shameful deeds, both open and hidden, sin, oppression, associating others with Him without authority, and speaking about Him without knowledge.”

Remain steadfast until Allah judges. He is the best of judges.

Allah is with the steadfast.

Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.

And that man will have only what he strives for

And that his effort will be seen

Then he will be fully repaid

And that to your Lord is the final return

And that it is He who causes laughter and weeping

Allah does not wrong His creation.

Indeed, Allah does not wrong anyone, even by an atom’s weight.

That is Allah, so how are you turned away?

That is Allah, your Lord.
