Creator of the Heavens and the Earth

Is there any creator besides Allah who provides for you from the sky and the earth? There is no Allah but Him, so how are you turned away?

All in the heavens and the earth seek Him. Every day He is engaged in a new act.

Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between, so worship Him and remain steadfast in His worship. Do you know of any equal to Him?

To Allah belong the armies of the heavens and the earth.

Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We built it and adorned it, with no cracks?

Allah holds the heavens and the earth so they do not collapse. If they were to fall, no one could hold them up after Him.

And at the mountains, how they are set firm?

We spread the earth and placed firm mountains upon it, and We caused everything to grow in perfect balance.

Did We not make the earth a cradle

He who made the earth a stable ground for you, and traced pathways upon it so you may be guided.

He is the One who made the earth manageable for you, so walk its paths and eat of His provision. To Him is the resurrection.

We will attend to you, O mighty two.

Do you feel secure that the One in the sky will not cause the earth to swallow you as it quakes?

Or do you feel safe that the One in the sky will not unleash a storm of stones upon you? Then you will know how true My warning was.

Say, “Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth? They will say, “Allah.” Say, “Then will you not be mindful?”

It is Allah who sent down the Balance.

He raised the sky and set the balance

So do not transgress in the balance.

Weigh with justice, and do not tip the scales.

Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth. Surely in this is a sign for the believers.

Allah created the heavens and the earth, sent down rain, and brought forth fruits for your sustenance.

And among His signs is that the heavens and the earth stand by His command. Then when He calls you from the earth, you will emerge.

The creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind, but most people do not realize.

Are you harder to create, or the heavens? He built them

Say: “Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?” Say: “Allah. And surely, either we or you are upon guidance, or in clear error.”

If you ask them, “Who created the heavens and the earth, and subjected the sun and the moon?” they will surely say, “Allah.” Then how are they deluded?

I turn my face fully to the One who created the heavens and the earth, purely devoted to Him.

Is He not the One who created the heavens and the earth

And He subjected to you all that is in the heavens and the earth

Do you not see that Allah has subjected to you all that is on the earth

Allah made the earth a stable place for you and the sky a canopy.

All praise belongs to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and brought forth darkness and light.

Is not the One who created the heavens and the earth able to create the likes of them again? Yes

Do you not know that Allah knows what is in the heavens and the earth? All is in a Record.

Have they not seen how Allah initiates creation and then repeats it? That is easy for Allah.

And that is not difficult for Allah.

We did not create the heavens, the earth, and all between them for mere amusement.

We did not create the heavens, the earth, and all between them in vain, this is the assumption of those who deny the truth.

We built the heavens with strength, and We are ever expanding it.

And the earth, We spread it out, how excellently We laid it!

We spread the earth and placed firm mountains upon it, and We caused everything to grow in perfect balance.

And the mountains as pegs?

He set mountains upon the earth lest it shift with you.

He created shade for you, made shelters in the mountains, and garments to protect you from heat and battle.

And in the mountains are streaks, white, red, and jet black, of varying shades.

And We made livelihoods for you within it, as well as for those you do not provide for.

There is nothing except that its storehouses are with Us, and We send it down in precise measure.

And we made wide pathways so they may find direction.

It is He who created everything on earth for you, then turned to the heavens and fashioned them into seven layers.

Thus, He completed them as seven heavens in two days, assigning to each its function. And We adorned the lowest heaven with lamps and protection. Such is the decree of the Almighty.

We built above you seven layers, and We are never unaware of creation. So look again, do you see any gaps?

Then look again, and again, your gaze will return humbled and weary.

It is Allah who raised the heavens without visible pillars.

We built above you seven mighty layers

Allah is the One who created seven heavens and of the earth, their like. His command descends between them so that you may know that Allah has power over all things and that Allah encompasses all things in knowledge.

Say: “Who is Lord of the seven heavens?

The seven heavens, the earth, and all within them glorify Him. There is nothing that does not exalt Him, though you do not understand their praise.

We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six days, and no fatigue touched Us.

Your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself above the Throne.

He created the heavens and the earth in six days, and His Throne was upon the waters, to test who among you is best in deeds.

He begins creation and then repeats it, to reward those who believe and do good with fairness.

Say, “Do you truly deny the One who created the earth in two days, and set up equals beside Him?

He placed firm mountains upon it, blessed it, and apportioned its sustenance in four days equally for all who seek.

We measured it precisely, how excellent are We in measuring!

Then He turned to the sky, which was but smoke, and said to it and the earth, “Come willingly or unwillingly.” They said, “We come willingly.”

Thus, He completed them as seven heavens in two days, assigning to each its function. And We adorned the lowest heaven with lamps and protection. Such is the decree of the Almighty.

He established Himself upon the Throne.

Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him.
