Livestock

Have they not seen how We created for them, among what Our hands have made, livestock they own?

36:71Have they not seen how We have created for them of Our handiwork the cattle, so that they are their owners,

We made them tame for them, some they ride, and some they eat.

36:72And have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding, some for food?

And on them you are carried.

23:22And on them and on the ship ye are carried.

They have other benefits and drinks from them. Will they not give thanks?

36:73Benefits and (divers) drinks have they from them. Will they not then give thanks?

And in livestock, too, is a lesson for you. We give you pure milk to drink, drawn from what is within their bodies, wholesome and pleasing to those who consume it, and from them you eat.

16:5And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat;

16:66And lo! in the cattle there is a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, from betwixt the refuse and the blood, pure milk palatable to the drinkers.

23:21And lo! in the cattle there is verily a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and many uses have ye in them, and of them do ye eat;

40:79Allah it is Who hath appointed for you cattle, that ye may ride on some of them, and eat of some -

He sent down livestock for you, eight kinds in pairs.

39:6He created you from one being, then from that (being) He made its mate; and He hath provided for you of cattle eight kinds. He created you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, in a threefold gloom. Such is Allah, your Lord. His is the Sovereignty. There is no Allah save Him. How then are ye turned away?

42:11The Creator of the heavens and the earth. He hath made for you pairs of yourselves, and of the cattle also pairs, whereby He multiplieth you. Naught is as His likeness; and He is the Hearer, the Seer.

There is beauty in them when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture.

16:6And wherein is beauty for you, when ye bring them home, and when ye take them out to pasture.

And among people, animals, and livestock are also diverse colours.

35:28And of men and beasts and cattle, in like manner, divers hues? The erudite among His bondmen fear Allah alone. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Forgiving.

And whatever He created for you on earth comes in diverse colours.

16:13And whatsoever He hath created for you in the earth of divers hues, lo! therein is indeed a portent for people who take heed.

And He created horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as adornment.

16:8And horses and mules and asses (hath He created) that ye may ride them, and for ornament. And He createth that which ye know not.

40:79Allah it is Who hath appointed for you cattle, that ye may ride on some of them, and eat of some -

43:12He Who created all the pairs, and appointed for you ships and cattle whereupon ye ride.

Do they not look at the camels, how they are created?

88:17Will they not regard the camels, how they are created?

They carry your burdens to lands you could not reach without great hardship.

16:7And they bear your loads for you unto a land ye could not reach save with great trouble to yourselves. Lo! your Lord is Full of Pity, Merciful.

That you may mount their backs, and remember your Lord’s favour as you sit firmly upon them, saying, “Glory be to Him who placed these at our service.

43:13That ye may mount upon their backs, and may remember your Lord's favour when ye mount thereon, and may say: Glorified be He Who hath subdued these unto us, and we were not capable (of subduing them);
