Exalting Allah

On the Day He gathers them all, He will say to the angels, “Did these people worship you?”

34:40And on the day when He will gather them all together, He will say unto the angels: Did these worship you?

They will say, “Glory be to You! You are our Protector, not them. They worshipped the jinn; most of them believed in them.”

34:41They will say: Be Thou Glorified. Thou (alone) art our Guardian, not them! Nay, but they worshipped the jinn; most of them were believers in them.

The heavens nearly burst apart above them, yet the angels glorify their Lord and seek forgiveness for those on earth.

42:5Almost might the heavens above be rent asunder while the angels hymn the praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on the earth. Lo! Allah, He is the Forgiver, the Merciful.

The thunder glorifies Him, as do the angels in awe of Him. He sends thunderbolts, striking whom He wills, yet they dispute about Allah

13:13The thunder hymneth His praise and (so do) the angels for awe of Him. He launcheth the thunderbolts and smiteth with them whom He will while they dispute (in doubt) concerning Allah, and He is mighty in wrath.

“There is not one among us,” say the angels, “But has a known place

37:164There is not one of us but hath his known position.

And we are the ones who line up in ranks

37:165Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks,

And we are the ones who glorify Him.”

37:166Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise

Those who carry the Throne and those around it glorify their Lord with praise, believe in Him, and seek forgiveness for the believers, saying, "Our Lord, You encompass all things in mercy and knowledge. Forgive those who repent and follow Your path, and protect them from the torment of the Blaze."

40:7Those who bear the Throne, and all who are round about it, hymn the praises of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who believe (saying): Our Lord! Thou comprehendest all things in mercy and knowledge, therefor forgive those who repent and follow Thy way. Ward off from them the punishment of hell.

You will see the angels surrounding the Throne, glorifying their Lord with praise. Judgment will be passed in truth, and it will be said, "Praise be to Allah."

39:75And thou (O Muhammad) seest the angels thronging round the Throne, hymning the praises of their Lord. And they are judged aright. And it is said: Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!
