Those who will succeed

Give glad tidings to those who believe and do good deeds:

2:25And give glad tidings (O Muhammad) unto those who believe and do good works; that theirs are Gardens underneath which rivers flow; as often as they are regaled with food of the fruit thereof, they say: this is what was given us aforetime; and it is given to them in resemblance. There for them are pure companions; there for ever they abide.

4:122But as for those who believe and do good works We shall bring them into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever. It is a promise from Allah in truth; and who can be more truthful than Allah in utterance?

5:9Allah hath promised those who believe and do good works: Theirs will be forgiveness and immense reward.

22:14Lo! Allah causeth those who believe and do good works to enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow. Lo! Allah doth what He intendeth.

22:23Lo! Allah will cause those who believe and do good works to enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will be allowed armlets of gold, and pearls, and their raiment therein will be silk.

Those who believe and do good, we will erase their sins and reward them according to the best of what they did.

29:7And as for those who believe and do good works, We shall remit from them their evil deeds and shall repay them the best that they did.

But those who believe and do good will be in Paradise

2:82And those who believe and do good works: such are rightful owners of the Garden. They will abide therein.

29:9And as for those who believe and do good works, We verily shall make them enter in among the righteous.

31:8Lo! those who believe and do good works, for them are the gardens of delight,

34:4That He may reward those who believe and do good works. For them is pardon and a rich provision.

35:7Those who disbelieve, theirs will be an awful doom; and those who believe and do good works, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward.

47:2And those who believe and do good works and believe in that which is revealed unto Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He riddeth them of their ill-deeds and improveth their state.

65:11A messenger reciting unto you the revelations of Allah made plain, that He may bring forth those who believe and do good works from darkness unto light. And whosoever believeth in Allah and doeth right, He will bring him into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein to abide for ever. Allah hath made good provision for him.

84:25Save those who believe and do good works, for theirs is a reward unfailing.

95:6Save those who believe and do good works, and theirs is a reward unfailing.

Those who believe, do good deeds, establish prayer, and give charity will have their reward with their Lord. They will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

2:277Lo! those who believe and do good works and establish worship and pay the poor-due, their reward is with their Lord and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve.

The Messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the believers. They all affirm: ‘We believe in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers. They declare, ‘We hear and obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord, to You is the final return.’

2:285The messenger believeth in that which hath been revealed unto him from his Lord and (so do) believers. Each one believeth in Allah and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers - We make no distinction between any of His messengers - and they say: We hear, and we obey. (Grant us) Thy forgiveness, our Lord. Unto Thee is the journeying.

O People of the Book, believe in what We have revealed, confirming what you already have

4:57And as for those who believe and do good works, We shall make them enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow - to dwell therein for ever; there for them are pure companions - and We shall make them enter plenteous shade.

Those who believe and do good are not blamed for what they consumed before, so long as they remain mindful, believe, and act righteously. Allah loves those who do good.

5:93There shall be no sin (imputed) unto those who believe and do good works for what they may have eaten (in the past). So be mindful of your duty (to Allah), and believe, and do good works; and again: be mindful of your duty, and believe; and once again: be mindful of your duty, and do right. Allah loveth the good.

The only response of true believers, when called to Allah and His Messenger to judge between them, is to say, “We hear, and we obey.” These are the ones who will succeed.

24:51The saying of (all true) believers when they appeal unto Allah and His messenger to judge between them is only that they say: We hear and we obey. And such are the successful.

Righteousness is not merely turning your faces toward the east or west. True righteousness is in one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets, and who gives wealth, despite loving it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, travellers, and those who ask for help, and for freeing slaves. It is in those who establish prayer, give charity, fulfil their promises, and remain patient in hardship and adversity. These are the truthful ones, and they are the truly righteous.

2:177It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces to the East and the West; but righteous is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the Scripture and the prophets; and giveth wealth, for love of Him, to kinsfolk and to orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and to those who ask, and to set slaves free; and observeth proper worship and payeth the poor-due. And those who keep their treaty when they make one, and the patient in tribulation and adversity and time of stress. Such are they who are sincere. Such are the Allah-fearing.

They believe in Allah and the Last Day, enjoin good, forbid evil, and hasten to do righteous deeds. These are among the righteous.

3:114They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency, and vie one with another in good works. These are of the righteous.

Those who believe, migrate, and strive in Allah’s cause with their wealth and lives are of the highest rank in His sight. They are the ones who will succeed.

9:20Those who believe, and have left their homes and striven with their wealth and their lives in Allah's way are of much greater worth in Allah's sight. These are they who are triumphant.

Allah has promised those among you who believe and do good that He will grant them succession in the land, just as He did for those before them; He will establish for them their faith, the one He has chosen for them, and replace their fear with security. They will worship Me alone, not associating anything with Me.

24:55Allah hath promised such of you as believe and do good work that He will surely make them to succeed (the present rulers) in the earth even as He caused those who were before them to succeed (others); and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He hath approved for them, and will give them in exchange safety after their fear. They serve Me. They ascribe no thing as partner unto Me. Those who disbelieve henceforth, they are the miscreants.

O believers! Be mindful of Allah and seek ways to draw near to Him. Strive in His cause, so you may succeed.

5:35O ye who believe! Be mindful of your duty to Allah, and seek the way of approach unto Him, and strive in His way in order that ye may succeed.

But those who strive for Us, we will surely guide them to Our paths. Allah is with those who do good.

29:69As for those who strive in Us, We surely guide them to Our paths, and lo! Allah is with the good.

And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and placed no hardship upon you in the religion, the way of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims before and in this scripture, so the Messenger may be a witness over you, and you may be witnesses over humanity. So establish prayer, give charity, and hold fast to Allah.

22:78And strive for Allah with the endeavour which is His right. He hath chosen you and hath not laid upon you in religion any hardship; the faith of your father Abraham (is yours). He hath named you Muslims of old time and in this (Scripture), that the messenger may be a witness against you, and that ye may be witnesses against mankind. So establish worship, pay the poor-due, and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protecting friend. A blessed Patron and a blessed Helper!

Truly successful are the believers

23:1Successful indeed are the believers

Those who are humble in their prayers

23:2Who are humble in their prayers,

Who turn away from idle talk

23:3And who shun vain conversation,

Who gives in charity with purpose

23:4And who are payers of the poor-due;

Who guard their chastity

23:5And who guard their modesty -

Except with their spouses or those under their care, for in that they are without blame.

23:6Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy,

But whoever seeks beyond that, such are the transgressors.

23:7But whoso craveth beyond that, such are transgressors -

Allah commands you to return trusts to their rightful owners and to judge with justice.

4:58Lo! Allah commandeth you that ye restore deposits to their owners, and, if ye judge between mankind, that ye judge justly. Lo! comely is this which Allah admonisheth you. Lo! Allah is ever Hearer, Seer.

Those who are faithful to their trusts and promises

23:8And who are shepherds of their pledge and their covenant,

And who are diligent in their prayers

23:9And who pay heed to their prayers.

These are the true inheritors
