Good and Bad Deeds
Whoever does good, it is for his own soul; and whoever does evil, it is against it. Then to your Lord you will all return.
45:15Whoso doeth right, it is for his soul, and whoso doeth wrong, it is against it. And afterward unto your Lord ye will be brought back.
And whoever does good willingly, Allah is Most Appreciative.
2:158Lo! (the mountains) As-Safa and Al-Marwah are among the indications of Allah. It is therefore no sin for him who is on pilgrimage to the House (of Allah) or visiteth it, to go around them (as the pagan custom is). And he who doeth good of his own accord, (for him) lo! Allah is Responsive, Aware.
Indeed, your striving is diverse.
92:4Lo! your effort is dispersed (toward divers ends).
Whoever earns a good deed, We shall increase its goodness for him.
42:23This it is which Allah announceth unto His bondmen who believe and do good works. Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee therefor, save lovingkindness among kinsfolk. And whoso scoreth a good deed We add unto its good for him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Responsive.
Whoever comes with good deeds will have better than what they brought, and will be safe from the terror of that Day.
27:89Whoso bringeth a good deed will have better than its worth; and such are safe from fear that Day.
These are the ones who race toward good deeds, and they are the first to reach them.
23:61These race for the good things, and they shall win them in the race.
Then We passed the Book to those We chose among Our servants. Some wrong themselves, some are moderate, and some race ahead in good deeds by Allah’s permission. That is the great favour.
35:32Then We gave the Scripture as inheritance unto those whom We elected of Our bondmen. But of them are some who wrong themselves and of them are some who are lukewarm, and of them are some who outstrip (others) through good deeds, by Allah's leave. That is the great favour!
Good and evil are not equal; repel evil with what is better, and you will find that the one who was your enemy becomes your close friend.
41:34The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one which is better, then lo! he, between whom and thee there was enmity (will become) as though he was a bosom friend.
And Allah increases guidance for those who seek it. Lasting good deeds are better in reward with your Lord and better in outcome.
19:76Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort.
