Remembering Allah

O people, you are the ones in need of Allah, while Allah is the Self-sufficient.

35:15O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.

O believers, remember Allah often

33:41O ye who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance.

Those who are with your Lord glorify Him night and day, never tiring.

41:38But if they are too proud - still those who are with thy Lord glorify Him night and day, and tire not.

Surely, those nearest to your Lord are never too proud to worship Him. They glorify Him, and to Him they bow in submission.

7:206Lo! those who are with thy Lord are not too proud to do Him service, but they praise Him and prostrate before Him.

And glorify Him morning and evening.

7:205And do thou (O Muhammad) remember thy Lord within thyself humbly and with awe, below thy breath, at morn and evening. And be not thou of the neglectful.

33:42And glorify Him early and late.

Their prayer there will be, “Glory be to You, O Allah,” and their greeting will be “Peace.” The last of their prayer will be, “Praise be to Allah."

10:10Their prayer therein will be: Glory be to Thee, O Allah! and their greeting therein will be: Peace. And the conclusion of their prayer will be: Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds!

Remember Allah during the appointed days. But whoever hastens in two days, there is no blame

2:203Remember Allah through the appointed days. Then whoso hasteneth (his departure) by two days, it is no sin for him, and whoso delayeth, it is no sin for him; that is for him who wardeth off (evil). Be careful of your duty to Allah, and know that unto Him ye will be gathered.

By day, you are occupied with long engagements.

73:7Lo! thou hast by day a chain of business.

So, remember the name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him with full devotion.

73:8So remember the name of thy Lord and devote thyself with a complete devotion -

And worship your Lord until certainty comes to you.

15:99And serve thy Lord till the Inevitable cometh unto thee.
