Solomon

We granted Solomon deeper understanding, though We gave both wisdom and knowledge.

21:79And We made Solomon to understand (the case); and unto each of them We gave judgment and knowledge. And we subdued the hills and the birds to hymn (His) praise along with David. We were the doers (thereof).

“O David, We have made you a ruler in the land. Judge with justice, and do not follow desire, lest it lead you astray from Allah’s path.

38:26(And it was said unto him): O David! Lo! We have set thee as a viceroy in the earth; therefor judge aright between mankind, and follow not desire that it beguile thee from the way of Allah. Lo! those who wander from the way of Allah have an awful doom, forasmuch as they forgot the Day of Reckoning.

And to David, We granted Solomon, what an excellent servant! He was ever turning to Us.

38:30And We bestowed on David, Solomon. How excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (toward Allah).
