The Flood

But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our signs, they were indeed a blind people.

7:64But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our tokens. Lo! they were blind folk.

10:73But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship, and made them viceroys (in the earth), while We drowned those who denied Our revelations. See then the nature of the consequence for those who had been warned.

11:89And, O my people! Let not the schism with me cause you to sin so that there befall you that which befell the folk of Noah and the folk of Hud, and the folk of Salih; and the folk of Lot are not far off from you.

21:76And Noah, when he cried of old, We heard his prayer and saved him and his household from the great affliction.

21:77And delivered him from the people who denied Our revelations. Lo! they were folk of evil, therefor did We drown them all.

25:37And Noah's folk, when they denied the messengers, We drowned them and made of them a portent for mankind. We have prepared a painful doom for evil-doers.

26:119And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship.

26:120Then afterward We drowned the others.

29:15And We rescued him and those with him in the ship, and made of it a portent for the peoples.

37:76And We saved him and his household from the great distress,

37:82Then We did drown the others.

51:46And the folk of Noah aforetime. Lo! they were licentious folk.

69:11Lo! when the waters rose, We carried you upon the ship

69:12That We might make it a memorial for you, and that remembering ears (that heard the story) might remember.

71:25Because of their sins they were drowned, then made to enter a Fire. And they found they had no helpers in place of Allah.

Noah said, “My Lord, do not leave a single disbeliever on the earth.

71:26And Noah said: My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers in the land.

If You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and give birth only to wicked, ungrateful ones.

71:27If Thou shouldst leave them, they will mislead Thy slaves and will beget none save lewd ingrates.

My Lord, forgive me, my parents, and whoever enters my house in faith, and all believing men and women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in ruin.”

71:28My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house believing, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin.

So We opened the gates of heaven with pouring water

54:11Then opened We the gates of heaven with pouring water

And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, the waters met by decree.

54:12And caused the earth to gush forth springs, so that the waters met for a predestined purpose.

When Our command came and the oven overflowed, We said, “Load onto the Ark a pair of every creature, along with your family, except those against whom judgment has already been passed, and those who believe.” But only a few believed with him.

11:40(Thus it was) till, when Our commandment came to pass and the oven gushed forth water, We said: Load therein two of every kind, a pair (the male and female), and thy household, save him against whom the word hath gone forth already, and those who believe. And but a few were they who believed with him.

And the overturned cities, He brought them down

53:53And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed

And covered them with what He covered.

53:54So that there covered them that which did cover.

Noah said, “Board it! In the name of Allah, may it sail and anchor.

11:41And he said: Embark therein! In the name of Allah be its course and its mooring. Lo! my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful.

And We carried him upon a vessel of planks and nails

54:13And We carried him upon a thing of planks and nails,

As the Ark sailed through waves like mountains, Noah called to his son, who stood apart, “O my son, board with us and do not be with the disbelievers.”

11:42And it sailed with them amid waves like mountains, and Noah cried unto his son - and he was standing aloof - O my son! Come ride with us, and be not with the disbelievers.

54:14That ran (upon the waters) in Our sight, as a reward for him who was rejected.

He replied, “I will take refuge on a mountain that will protect me from the water.” Noah said, “Today, nothing can protect from Allah’s decree except those whom He shows mercy.” Then the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned.

11:43He said: I shall betake me to some mountain that will save me from the water. (Noah) said: This day there is none that saveth from the commandment of Allah save him on whom He hath had mercy. And the wave came in between them, so he was among the drowned.
