Punishment

Then they killed the she-camel and defied their Lord’s command, saying, “Bring upon us what you threaten us with, if you are truthful.”

7:77So they hamstrung the she-camel, and they flouted the commandment of their Lord, and they said: O Salih! Bring upon us that thou threatenest if thou art indeed of those sent (from Allah).

11:65But they hamstrung her, and then he said: Enjoy life in your dwelling-place three days! This is a threat that will not be belied.

17:59Naught hindereth Us from sending portents save that the folk of old denied them. And We gave Thamud the she-camel - a clear portent save to warn.

26:157But they hamstrung her, and then were penitent.
