Abu Lahab and his Wife
Condemned are the hands of Abu Lahab, and he is condemned.
111:1The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish.
His wealth and gains will not save him.
111:2His wealth and gains will not exempt him.
He will burn in a blazing fire
111:3He will be plunged in flaming Fire,
And his wife, who carried thorns
111:4And his wife, the wood-carrier,
Around her neck will be a rope of palm fiber.
111:5Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre.
