Horrified
By your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils, then We will bring them around Hell, kneeling, their eyes darkened with fear.
19:68And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell.
20:102The day when the Trumpet is blown. On that day we assemble the guilty white-eyed (with terror),
You will see the wrongdoers fearful of what they have earned, and it will inevitably befall them.
42:22Thou seest the wrong-doers fearful of that which they have earned, and it will surely befall them, while those who believe and do good works (will be) in flowering meadows of the Gardens, having what they wish from their Lord. This is the great preferment.
And the true promise draws near, then the disbelievers will stare in horror, saying, “Woe to us! We were heedless of this!”
21:97And the True Promise draweth nigh; then behold them, staring wide (in terror), the eyes of those who disbelieve! (They say): Alas for us! We (lived) in forgetfulness of this. Ah, but we were wrong-doers!
He only delays them until a Day when eyes will stare in horror.
14:42Deem not that Allah is unaware of what the wicked do. He but giveth them a respite till a day when eyes will stare (in terror),
Rushing forward, heads raised, unable to blink, hearts empty with dread.
14:43As they come hurrying on in fear, their heads upraised, their gaze returning not to them, and their hearts as air.
Hearts that Day will be shaken
79:8On that day hearts beat painfully
Their eyes cast down.
79:9While eyes are downcast
On that Day, every nursing mother will abandon her infant, every pregnant woman will miscarry, and people will appear intoxicated, though not by drink, but overwhelmed by Allah’s severe punishment.
22:2On the day when ye behold it, every nursing mother will forget her nursling and every pregnant one will be delivered of her burden, and thou (Muhammad) wilt see mankind as drunken, yet they will not be drunken, but the Doom of Allah will be strong (upon them).
They will whisper among themselves, “You only remained for ten days.”
20:103Murmuring among themselves: Ye have tarried but ten (days).
We know best what they say, when the most reasonable among them will say, “You only stayed for a day.”
20:104We are Best Aware of what they utter when their best in conduct say: Ye have tarried but a day.
