Striking Faces

If only you could see when the angels take the souls of the disbelievers, striking their faces and backs, saying, “Taste the punishment of the Fire.”

8:50If thou couldst see how the angels receive those who disbelieve, smiting faces and their backs and (saying): Taste the punishment of burning!

And for them are iron rods to strike with.

22:21And for them are hooked rods of iron.

“This is for what your hands have done, Allah is never unjust to His servants.”

8:51This is for that which your own hands have sent before (to the Judgment), and (know) that Allah is not a tyrant to His slaves.

And faces that Day will be downcast

75:24And that day will other faces be despondent,

Knowing that a crushing blow is coming.

75:25Thou wilt know that some great disaster is about to fall on them.
