Scalding Drink

“So, leave those who treat their faith as idle play and distraction. For them, a scalding drink and a torment most bitter, for they denied the truth.”

6:70And forsake those who take their religion for a pastime and a jest, and whom the life of the world beguileth. Remind (mankind) hereby lest a soul be destroyed by what it earneth. It hath beside Allah no protecting ally nor intercessor, and though it offer every compensation it will not be accepted from it. Those are they who perish by their own deserts. For them is drink of boiling water and a painful doom, because they disbelieved.

10:4Unto Him is the return of all of you; it is a promise of Allah in truth. Lo! He produceth creation, then reproduceth it, that He may reward those who believe and do good works with equity; while, as for those who disbelieve, theirs will be a boiling drink and painful doom because they disbelieved.

And drive the wrongdoers to Hell, thirsty

19:86And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd,

But if one is among the deniers, the misguided

56:92But if he is of the rejecters, the erring,

Then a welcome of scalding water

56:93Then the welcome will be boiling water

And burning in the fire.

56:94And roasting at hell-fire.

Tasting neither coolness nor drink

78:24Therein taste they neither coolness nor (any) drink

Then they will have a boiling drink to wash it down.

37:67And afterward, lo! thereupon they have a drink of boiling water

38:57Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it,

44:46As the seething of boiling water.

56:42In scorching wind and scalding water

Drinking scalding water

56:54And thereon ye will drink of boiling water,

Gulping like thirsty camels.

56:55Drinking even as the camel drinketh.

Is this like the fate of those who dwell forever in the Fire, given boiling water and oozing filth to drink that tears their insides apart?

47:15A similitude of the Garden which those who keep their duty (to Allah) are promised: Therein are rivers of water unpolluted, and rivers of milk whereof the flavour changeth not, and rivers of wine delicious to the drinkers, and rivers of clear-run honey; therein for them is every kind of fruit, with pardon from their Lord. (Are those who enjoy all this) like those who are immortal in the Fire and are given boiling water to drink so that it teareth their bowels?

78:25Save boiling water and a paralysing cold:

88:5Drinking from a boiling spring,

If they cry for relief, they will be given water like molten brass, it will boil in the bellies and scald their faces. What a dreadful drink and a terrible resting place!

18:29Say: (It is) the truth from the Lord of you (all). Then whosoever will, let him believe, and whosoever will, let him disbelieve. Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers Fire. Its tent encloseth them. If they ask for showers, they will be showered with water like to molten lead which burneth the faces. Calamitous the drink and ill the resting-place!

44:45Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies

When shackles are placed around their necks and chains drag them into boiling water.

40:71When carcans are about their necks and chains. They are dragged

40:72Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire.

44:47(And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell,

When they are cast into it, they will hear it roaring as it boils over.

67:7When they are flung therein they hear its roaring as it boileth up,

They will circulate between it and a seething bath.

55:44They go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water.

Boiling water will be poured over their heads

22:19These twain (the believers and the disbelievers) are two opponents who contend concerning their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, garments of fire will be cut out for them; boiling fluid will be poured down on their heads,

44:48Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water.

So, your Lord unleashed upon them a scourge of punishment.

89:13Therefore thy Lord poured on them the disaster of His punishment.

Melting their insides and their skins.

22:20Whereby that which is in their bellies, and their skins too, will be melted;

Then a welcome of scalding water

56:93Then the welcome will be boiling water
