If Only
Even they used to say
37:167And indeed they used to say:
“If only we had a reminder from those before.
37:168If we had but a reminder from the men of old
We would have been Allah’s devoted servants.”
37:169We would be single-minded slaves of Allah.
But they rejected it, so they will soon know.
37:170Yet (now that it is come) they disbelieve therein; but they will come to know.
