Muhammad's Function - Constructive

O Prophet, remain mindful of Allah and do not yield to the deniers or the hypocrites.

Follow what is revealed to you from your Lord, for He is fully aware of all that you do.

Whatever gains Allah turned over to His Messenger from them, you did not spur horses or camels for it. But Allah gives authority to His messengers over whomever He wills.

Then We revealed to you: “Follow the way of Abraham, who was upright and never among the idolaters.”

The Sabbath was imposed only upon those who differed about it. Your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding their disputes.

Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good counsel, and debate with them in the best manner.

Among them are unlettered people who know nothing of the Scripture except wishful thinking, and they rely on mere assumptions.

He is the One who raised among the unlettered a messenger from their own, reciting His signs to them, purifying them, and teaching them the Book and wisdom, though before this, they were clearly astray.

And He has sent him also to others who have not yet joined them.

Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their scriptures, it is they who will succeed.

So, believe in Allah and His messenger, the unlettered Prophet, who believes in Allah and His words, and follow him so that you may be guided.”

Say: I am not the first of the messengers

Nothing is said to you except what was said to the messengers before you.

Yet I granted enjoyment to these and their forefathers until the truth and a clear messenger came to them.

We never sent messengers before you except that they ate food and walked in the marketplaces. And We made some of you a test for others, will you be patient?

If they reject you, messengers before you were also rejected.

We have sent to you a messenger as a witness over you, just as We sent a messenger to Pharaoh.

Indeed, We have sent you with the truth.

This is truly the word of a noble messenger.

You are truly among the messengers

Every nation has its guide.

On a straight path

You surely guide to a straight path

To warn a people whose ancestors were not warned, so they are unaware.

He is the One who sent His Messenger with guidance and the true religion to make it prevail over all others, even if the polytheists resent it.

O Prophet, We have sent you as a witness

We will teach you, so you will not forget

Except what Allah wills, He knows what is revealed and what is hidden.

We will ease your way to ease.

As a lesson and reminder for every servant who turns to Allah.

But remind, for reminding benefits the believers.

So, remind, if the reminder benefits.

So, remind, for you are only a reminder.

You have no control over them.

The reverent will take heed

While the most wretched will turn away

Say, "I have been commanded to worship Allah, devoting my faith entirely to Him."

O People of the Book! Our Messenger has come to you after a long gap in messengers, lest you say, “No one came to us as a bearer of good news or warning.” Now, a bearer of good news and a warner has come to you.

Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion to His servant, so that he may be a warner to the world.

Had We willed, We could have sent a warner to every city.

And warn your closest relatives.

And lower your wing to the believers who follow you.

It has only been revealed to me that I am a clear warner.

Indeed, We have sent you as a warner.

Say: “O people, I am only a clear warner to you.”

You are only a warner

So, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him.

This is a warning like the earlier warnings.

He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment.

We sent down the Quran with truth, and with truth it descended. We sent you only as a bearer of good news and a warner.

You can only warn the one who follows the Reminder and fears the Merciful unseen. So, give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward.

You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and establish prayer. Whoever purifies themselves does so for their own good.

You were not present on the western side when We decreed Our command to Moses, nor were you among the witnesses.

But We raised generations after him, and their lives grew long. You were not present among the people of Midian, reciting Our revelations to them, but We sent messengers.

Nor were you on the side of the mountain when We called Moses, but it is a mercy from your Lord, so you may warn a people who had no warner before you, so they may take heed.

Otherwise, they might say, “If only a messenger had come to us, we would have followed the signs of Allah and not been among the condemned.”

But when the truth came to them from Us, they said, “Why was he not given what Moses was given?” Did they not reject what Moses was given before? They said, “Two kinds of magic supporting each other.” And they said, “We reject both.”

And We have sent you not but as a tender mercy, flowing outward to all realms of being.

A messenger has come to you from among yourselves, grieved by your suffering, concerned for you, and deeply compassionate and merciful toward the believers.

Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and the seal of the prophets.

O People of the Book! Our Messenger has come to you after a long gap in messengers, lest you say, “No one came to us as a bearer of good news or warning.” Now, a bearer of good news and a warner has come to you.

Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner.

We have sent you only as a bearer of good news and a warner to all humanity, but most people do not know.

Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah, you have a perfect example for those who hope in Allah and the Last Day and remember Him often.

When the believers saw the enemy forces, they said, “This is what Allah and His Messenger promised us, and Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth.” It only increased them in faith and submission.

“Our Lord, do not make us a trial for those who disbelieve, and forgive us.

Indeed, you have a beautiful example in them, for those who hope in Allah and the Last Day. But whoever turns away, Allah is free of need

Allah has granted His favour to the believers when He sent them a messenger from among themselves, reciting His verses, purifying them, and teaching them the Book and wisdom, though they were previously in clear error.

Just as We sent among you a messenger from your own people, reciting Our revelations, purifying you, teaching you the Book and wisdom, and instructing you in what you did not know.

You wrapped in your cloak

Rise and deliver the warning

Magnify your Lord

Purify your garments

And shun all defilement.

Do not give in order to receive more in return

But remain steadfast for the sake of your Lord.
