No Benefit or Harm

Say, “I have no power to benefit or harm myself, except as Allah wills. If I had knowledge of the unseen, I would have secured abundant good and avoided harm. I am only a warner and a bearer of glad tidings for those who believe.”

7:188Say: For myself I have no power to benefit, nor power to hurt, save that which Allah willeth. Had I knowledge of the Unseen, I should have abundance of wealth, and adversity would not touch me. I am but a warner, and a bearer of good tidings unto folk who believe.

Say, “I have no power to harm or benefit myself except as Allah wills. Every nation has its appointed time. When their time comes, they cannot delay it nor hasten it.”

10:49Say: I have no power to hurt or benefit myself, save that which Allah willeth. For every nation there is an appointed time. When their time cometh, then they cannot put it off an hour, nor hasten (it).

The places of worship belong to Allah, so do not call upon anyone besides Him.

72:18And the places of worship are only for Allah, so pray not unto anyone along with Allah.

When Allah’s servant stood up to call upon Him, they nearly swarmed him in crowds.

72:19And when the slave of Allah stood up in prayer to Him, they crowded on him, almost stifling.

Say: “I have no power to harm or benefit you.”

72:21Say: Lo! I control not hurt nor benefit for you.

Say: “No one can protect me from Allah, and I will find no refuge besides Him.

72:22Say: Lo! none can protect me from Allah, nor can I find any refuge beside Him

Say: “I do not know whether what you are promised is near or far.

72:25Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or if my Lord hath set a distant term for it.

He alone knows the unseen, and He reveals none of it to anyone.

72:26(He is) the Knower of the Unseen, and He revealeth unto none His secret,

Except to a messenger, He chooses.

72:27Save unto every messenger whom He hath chosen, and then He maketh a guard to go before him and a guard behind him
