Obey Muhammad
Obey Allah and His Messenger.
3:32Say: Obey Allah and the messenger. But if they turn away, lo! Allah loveth not the disbelievers (in His guidance).
3:132And obey Allah and the messenger, that ye may find mercy.
4:59O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the messenger and those of you who are in authority; and if ye have a dispute concerning any matter, refer it to Allah and the messenger if ye are (in truth) believers in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and more seemly in the end.
5:92Obey Allah and obey the messenger, and beware! But if ye turn away, then know that the duty of Our messenger is only plain conveyance (of the message).
8:1They ask thee (O Muhammad) of the spoils of war. Say: The spoils of war belong to Allah and the messenger, so keep your duty to Allah, and adjust the matter of your difference, and obey Allah and His messenger, if ye are (true) believers.
9:71And the believers, men and women, are protecting friends one of another; they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, and they establish worship and they pay the poor-due, and they obey Allah and His messenger. As for these, Allah will have mercy on them. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.
24:54Say: Obey Allah and obey the messenger. But if ye turn away, then (it is) for him (to do) only that wherewith he hath been charged, and for you (to do) only that wherewith ye have been charged. If ye obey him, ye will go aright. But the messenger hath no other charge than to convey (the message) plainly.
33:33And stay in your houses. Bedizen not yourselves with the bedizenment of the Time of Ignorance. Be regular in prayer, and pay the poor-due, and obey Allah and His messenger. Allah's wish is but to remove uncleanness far from you, O Folk of the Household, and cleanse you with a thorough cleansing.
47:33O ye who believe! Obey Allah and obey the messenger, and render not your actions vain.
49:14The wandering Arabs say: We believe. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Ye believe not, but rather say "We submit," for the faith hath not yet entered into your hearts. Yet, if ye obey Allah and His messenger, He will not withhold from you aught of (the reward of) your deeds. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
58:13Fear ye to offer alms before your conference? Then, when ye do it not and Allah hath forgiven you, establish worship and pay the poor-due and obey Allah and His messenger. And Allah is Aware of what ye do.
64:12Obey Allah and obey His messenger; but if ye turn away, then the duty of Our messenger is only to convey (the message) plainly.
Obey the Messenger, so that you may receive mercy.
24:56Establish worship and pay the poor-due and obey the messenger, that haply ye may find mercy.
O believers! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not turn away when you hear his call.
8:20O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak).
O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and do not let your deeds be nullified.
47:33O ye who believe! Obey Allah and obey the messenger, and render not your actions vain.
The only response of true believers, when called to Allah and His Messenger to judge between them, is to say, “We hear and we obey.” These are the ones who will succeed.
24:51The saying of (all true) believers when they appeal unto Allah and His messenger to judge between them is only that they say: We hear and we obey. And such are the successful.
Whoever obeys Him and His Messenger will be admitted into gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they will remain forever. That is the ultimate success.
4:13These are the limits (imposed by) Allah. Whoso obeyeth Allah and His messenger, He will make him enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where such will dwell for ever. That will be the great success.
24:52He who obeyeth Allah and His messenger, and feareth Allah, and keepeth duty (unto Him): such indeed are the victorious.
33:71He will adjust your works for you and will forgive you your sins. Whosoever obeyeth Allah and His messenger, he verily hath gained a signal victory.
48:17There is no blame for the blind, nor is there blame for the lame, nor is there blame for the sick (that they go not forth to war). And whoso obeyeth Allah and His messenger, He will make him enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow; and whoso turneth back, him will He punish with a painful doom.
Obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute among yourselves, lest you falter and lose courage. Be patient.
8:46And obey Allah and His messenger, and dispute not one with another lest ye falter and your strength depart from you; but be steadfast! Lo! Allah is with the steadfast.
O believers, obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you. If you dispute, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you truly believe in Allah and the Last Day. This is the best and fairest resolution.
4:59O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the messenger and those of you who are in authority; and if ye have a dispute concerning any matter, refer it to Allah and the messenger if ye are (in truth) believers in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and more seemly in the end.
We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by Allah’s command. If they had come to you after wronging themselves, seeking Allah’s forgiveness, and if the Messenger had prayed for them, they would have found Allah Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
4:64We sent no messenger save that he should be obeyed by Allah's leave. And if, when they had wronged themselves, they had but come unto thee and asked forgiveness of Allah, and asked forgiveness of the messenger, they would have found Allah Forgiving, Merciful.
Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger will be among those whom Allah has blessed, the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. What an excellent company!
4:69Whoso obeyeth Allah and the messenger, they are with those unto whom Allah hath shown favour, of the prophets and the saints and the martyrs and the righteous. The best of company are they!
That is the bounty from Allah.
4:70That is bounty from Allah, and Allah sufficeth as Knower.
The believers, men and women, are allies to one another. They enjoin good, forbid evil, establish prayer, give charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will have mercy on them.
9:71And the believers, men and women, are protecting friends one of another; they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, and they establish worship and they pay the poor-due, and they obey Allah and His messenger. As for these, Allah will have mercy on them. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.
Whatever good reaches you is from Allah, but whatever harm befalls you is from yourself. We have sent you as a messenger to humanity.
4:79Whatever of good befalleth thee (O man) it is from Allah, and whatever of ill befalleth thee it is from thyself. We have sent thee (Muhammad) as a messenger unto mankind and Allah is sufficient as Witness.
The true believers are those who stay with the Messenger in collective matters and do not leave without asking permission. Those who ask your permission—they are the ones who truly believe in Allah and His Messenger. So, when they ask your leave for some personal matter, grant it to whomever you will, and ask Allah to forgive them.
24:62They only are the true believers who believe in Allah and His messenger and, when they are with him on some common errand, go not away until they have asked leave of him. Lo! those who ask leave of thee, those are they who believe in Allah and His messenger. So, if they ask thy leave for some affair of theirs, give leave to whom thou wilt of them, and ask for them forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Say: “Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. But if you turn away, he is responsible for what he has been charged with, and you for what you have been charged with. If you obey him, you will be rightly guided. The Messenger’s duty is only to deliver the message clearly.”
But whoever remains devoted to Allah and His Messenger and does good, We will grant her a double reward and a noble provision.
33:31And whosoever of you is submissive unto Allah and His messenger and doeth right, We shall give her her reward twice over, and We have prepared for her a rich provision.
Are you reluctant to offer charity before your private counsel? If you do not, and Allah forgives you, then establish prayer, give charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger.
58:13Fear ye to offer alms before your conference? Then, when ye do it not and Allah hath forgiven you, establish worship and pay the poor-due and obey Allah and His messenger. And Allah is Aware of what ye do.
And know that the Messenger of Allah is among you. If he were to follow your wishes in many matters, you would surely falter. But Allah has made faith beloved to you, and adorned it in your hearts, and made disbelief, defiance, and disobedience detestable to you. These are the rightly guided.
49:7And know that the messenger of Allah is among you. If he were to obey you in much of the government, ye would surely be in trouble; but Allah hath endeared the faith to you and hath beautified it in your hearts, and hath made disbelief and lewdness and rebellion hateful unto you. Such are they who are the rightly guided.
A grace and favour from Allah.
49:8(It is) a bounty and a grace from Allah; and Allah is Knower, Wise.
