Believe Muhammad

What holds you back from believing in Allah when the Messenger calls you to faith, and He has already taken your pledge?

57:8What aileth you that ye believe not in Allah, when the messenger calleth you to believe in your Lord, and He hath already made a covenant with you, if ye are believers?

It is He who sends down clear signs, to bring you from darkness into light, and truly.

57:9He it is Who sendeth down clear revelations unto His slave, that He may bring you forth from darkness unto light; and lo! for you, Allah is Full of Pity, Merciful.

O believers, be mindful of Allah and believe in His Messenger. He will grant you a double portion of His mercy, a light to guide you, and forgiveness.

57:28O ye who believe! Be mindful of your duty to Allah and put faith in His messenger. He will give you twofold of His mercy and will appoint for you a light wherein ye shall walk, and will forgive you. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful;

As one who calls to Allah by His permission, and as a guiding light.

33:46And as a summoner unto Allah by His permission, and as a lamp that giveth light.

And say: “My Lord, forgive and have mercy.

23:118And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy.

Believe in Allah and His messenger(s)

3:179It is not (the purpose) of Allah to leave you in your present state till He shall separate the wicked from the good. And it is not (the purpose of) Allah to let you know the Unseen. But Allah chooseth of His messengers whom He will, (to receive knowledge thereof). So believe in Allah and His messengers. If ye believe and ward off (evil), yours will be a vast reward.

4:136O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His messenger and the Scripture which He hath revealed unto His messenger, and the Scripture which He revealed aforetime. Whoso disbelieveth in Allah and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers and the Last Day, he verily hath wandered far astray.

4:150Lo! those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers, and seek to make distinction between Allah and His messengers, and say: We believe in some and disbelieve in others, and seek to choose a way in between;

4:152But those who believe in Allah and His messengers and make no distinction between any of them, unto them Allah will give their wages; and Allah was ever Forgiving, Merciful.

7:158Say (O Muhammad): O mankind! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah to you all - (the messenger of) Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. There is no Allah save Him. He quickeneth and He giveth death. So believe in Allah and His messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, who believeth in Allah and in His Words, and follow him that haply ye may be led aright.

24:62They only are the true believers who believe in Allah and His messenger and, when they are with him on some common errand, go not away until they have asked leave of him. Lo! those who ask leave of thee, those are they who believe in Allah and His messenger. So, if they ask thy leave for some affair of theirs, give leave to whom thou wilt of them, and ask for them forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

48:9That ye (mankind) may believe in Allah and His messenger, and may honour Him, and may revere Him, and may glorify Him at early dawn and at the close of day.

57:7Believe in Allah and His messenger, and spend of that whereof He hath made you trustees; and such of you as believe and spend (aright), theirs will be a great reward.

61:11Ye should believe in Allah and His messenger, and should strive for the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is better for you, if ye did but know.

64:8So believe in Allah and His messenger and the light which We have revealed. And Allah is Informed of what ye do.

Then We set you upon a clear path of faith, so follow it, and do not follow the whims of those who know not.

45:18And now have We set thee (O Muhammad) on a clear road of (Our) commandment; so follow it, and follow not the whims of those who know not.

"Say, 'This is my path, I call to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me.

12:108Say: This is my Way: I call on Allah with sure knowledge. I and whosoever followeth me - Glory be to Allah! - and I am not of the idolaters.

So, call them to this, and remain steadfast as you have been commanded. Do not follow their desires, but say: I believe in whatever Book Allah has sent down, and I am commanded to judge fairly between you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. We have our deeds, and you have yours. Let there be no dispute between us, Allah will gather us together, and to Him is the final return.

42:15Unto this, then, summon (O Muhammad). And be thou upright as thou art commanded, and follow not their lusts, but say: I believe in whatever scripture Allah hath sent down, and I am commanded to be just among you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. Unto us our works and unto you your works; no argument between us and you. Allah will bring us together, and unto Him is the journeying.

O believers! Hold fast to faith in Allah, His Messenger, and the Book He sent down before.

4:136O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His messenger and the Scripture which He hath revealed unto His messenger, and the Scripture which He revealed aforetime. Whoso disbelieveth in Allah and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers and the Last Day, he verily hath wandered far astray.

Say, “O humanity, I am Allah’s messenger to you all. So, believe in Allah and His messenger, the unlettered Prophet, who believes in Allah and His words, and follow him so that you may be guided.”

7:158Say (O Muhammad): O mankind! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah to you all - (the messenger of) Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. There is no Allah save Him. He quickeneth and He giveth death. So believe in Allah and His messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, who believeth in Allah and in His Words, and follow him that haply ye may be led aright.

Follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord.

6:106Follow that which is inspired in thee from thy Lord; there is no Allah save Him; and turn away from the idolaters.

True believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger, then never doubt, and strive with their wealth and lives in Allah’s cause. They are the sincere.

49:15The (true) believers are those only who believe in Allah and His messenger and afterward doubt not, but strive with their wealth and their lives for the cause of Allah. Such are the sincere.

Perhaps you will grieve yourself to ruin because they do not believe.

26:3It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not.
