Guidance and Mercy

Now a clear proof has come to you from your Lord, a guidance and mercy for those who believe.

6:157Or lest ye should say: If the Scripture had been revealed unto us, we surely had been better guided than are they. Now hath there come unto you a clear proof from your Lord, a guidance and mercy; and who doeth greater wrong than he who denieth the revelations of Allah, and turneth away from them? We award unto those who turn away from Our revelations an evil doom because of their aversion.

7:52Verily We have brought them a Scripture which We expounded with knowledge, a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.

7:203And when thou bringest not a verse for them they say: Why hast thou not chosen it? Say: I follow only that which is inspired in me from my Lord. This (Qur'an) is insight from your Lord, and a guidance and a mercy for a people that believe.

10:57O mankind! There hath come unto you an exhortation from your Lord, a balm for that which is in the breasts, a guidance and a mercy for believers.

12:111In their history verily there is a lesson for men of understanding. It is no invented story but a confirmation of the existing (Scripture) and a detailed explanation of everything, and a guidance and a mercy for folk who believe.

16:64And We have revealed the Scripture unto thee only that thou mayst explain unto them that wherein they differ, and (as) a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.

16:89And (bethink you of) the day when We raise in every nation a witness against them of their own folk, and We bring thee (Muhammad) as a witness against these. And We reveal the Scripture unto thee as an exposition of all things, and a guidance and a mercy and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah).

27:77And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers.

28:43And We verily gave the Scripture unto Moses after We had destroyed the generations of old: clear testimonies for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy, that haply they might reflect.

31:3A guidance and a mercy for the good,

45:20This is clear indication for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy for a folk whose faith is sure.

92:12Lo! Ours it is (to give) the guidance

We revealed the Book to clarify all things, a guide, mercy, and good news for those who submit.

27:77And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers.

31:3A guidance and a mercy for the good,

This is a Book We have revealed to you so that, by your Lord’s permission, you may lead people from darkness into light, to the path of the Almighty.

14:1Alif. Lam. Ra. (This is) a Scripture which We have revealed unto thee (Muhammad) that thereby thou mayst bring forth mankind from darkness unto light, by the permission of their Lord, unto the path of the Mighty, the Owner of Praise,

57:9He it is Who sendeth down clear revelations unto His slave, that He may bring you forth from darkness unto light; and lo! for you, Allah is Full of Pity, Merciful.

65:11A messenger reciting unto you the revelations of Allah made plain, that He may bring forth those who believe and do good works from darkness unto light. And whosoever believeth in Allah and doeth right, He will bring him into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein to abide for ever. Allah hath made good provision for him.

But you will not will, for those who seek the straight path.

81:28Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight.

This Quran guides to what is most upright and gives good news to the believers who do righteous deeds, that they will have a great reward.

17:9Lo! this Qur'an guideth unto that which is straightest, and giveth tidings unto the believers who do good works that theirs will be a great reward.

Whoever follows guidance does so for his own benefit, and whoever goes astray does so to his own loss.

39:41Lo! We have revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture for mankind with truth. Then whosoever goeth right it is for his soul, and whosoever strayeth, strayeth only to its hurt. And thou art not a warder over them.
