We have sent down to you a Book in which is your reminder, will you not understand?

21:10Now We have revealed unto you a Scripture wherein is your Reminder. Have ye then no sense?

Indeed, this is a reminder for those who are mindful.

69:48And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil).

But Allah Himself bears witness to what He has revealed to you, He sent it down with full knowledge.

4:166But Allah (Himself) testifieth concerning that which He hath revealeth unto thee; in His knowledge hath He revealed it; and the angels also testify. And Allah is sufficient Witness.

A Quran We have divided, so you may recite it gradually to the people. We revealed it in stages.

17:106And (it is) a Qur'an that We have divided, that thou mayst recite it unto mankind at intervals, and We have revealed it by (successive) revelation.

76:23Lo! We, even We, have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a revelation;

Had Allah expanded provision for all His servants, they would have become reckless. Instead, He grants in measure as He wills.

42:27And if Allah were to enlarge the provision for His slaves they would surely rebel in the earth, but He sendeth down by measure as He willeth. Lo! He is Informed, a Seer of His bondmen.

We send down the Quran as healing and mercy for the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss.

17:82And We reveal of the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy for believers though it increase the evil-doers in naught save ruin.

So, when We recite it, follow its recitation.

75:18And when We read it, follow thou the reading;
