Hell

But whoever turns away and disbelieves

Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.

To Us is their return

Then upon Us rests their reckoning.

To whoever wills to move forward or hold back.

Every soul is held in pledge for what it has earned

Except the people of the right

In gardens, asking one another

About the guilty:

So, no intercession will benefit them now.

Then what is the matter with them, turning away from the reminder

As if they were startled donkeys

Fleeing from a lion?

Each one of them wants to be given scrolls unrolled.

No! They do not fear the Hereafter.

Do you make your denial your sustenance?

Then, when the soul reaches the throat

And you watch helplessly

Then why, if you truly believe you won’t be held to account?

Then bring the soul back, if you are truthful.

Say to the disbelievers: ‘You will be defeated and gathered into Hell, what a dreadful resting place!’

My only duty is to deliver what I receive from Allah and His messages.”

When they see what they were promised, they will know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in number.

They say, ‘The Fire will only touch us for a few days.’ But they deceive themselves in their own beliefs.

True sovereignty that Day belongs to the Most Merciful, and it will be a difficult day for the disbelievers.

And Hell will be displayed to the misguided.

And it will be said to them, “Where are those you used to worship

Besides Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?”

Then they will be hurled into it, they and the misguided

And the soldiers of Iblis, all together.

As they dispute within it, they will say

Surely, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of Hell, and you will find no helper for them.

When the soul reaches the collarbones

And it is said, “Who can save him now?”

And he realizes it is the moment of parting

And one leg is wrapped over the other

To your Lord, that Day, is the procession.

He neither believed nor prayed

But denied and turned away

Then walked back to his people with pride.

Woe to you, and again, woe!

Yes, woe to you, and again, woe!

Does the human think he will be left without purpose?

A painful punishment awaits them for their falsehood.

Woe to every sinful liar

Woe to those who associate others with Him.

Woe to them for the Fire!

Woe to the disbelievers on the Day they are promised.

Woe to every slanderer and mocker

Woe to those whose hearts are sealed against remembering Allah; they are in clear error.

So, woe to those who write the Scripture with their own hands and then say, 'This is from Allah,' seeking a small gain. Woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for what they earn.

So, woe to those who pray

Yet are heedless of their prayers

Woe to those who cheat in trade

Who demand full measure when they receive

But short-change others when they give.

Do they not realize they will be resurrected

But those gifted with knowledge said, “Woe to you!

The word has proven true against most of them; they do not believe.

We’ve placed shackles around their necks, up to their chins, so their heads are forced upward.

And We’ve set a barrier before them and behind them, covering them, so they cannot see.

Those who reject Allah’s signs and unjustly kill the prophets and those who call for justice, give them news of a painful punishment.

But those who disbelieve have false guardians who lead them from light into darkness.

Disbelievers fight for falsehood.

Some He has guided, while others deserve misguidance. They took devils as allies instead of Allah, thinking they were rightly guided.

Then on the Day of Resurrection, you will dispute before your Lord.

On the Day when Allah resurrects them all, He will inform them of what they did. He has kept account, though they may have forgotten.
