Parting Gift
If you wish to replace one wife with another, do not take back any of the dowry you have given her, even if it was a great sum. Would you take it unjustly and with clear wrongdoing?
4:20And if ye wish to exchange one wife for another and ye have given unto one of them a sum of money (however great), take nothing from it. Would ye take it by the way of calumny and open wrong?
