Quran 112 — Al-Ikhlas (Sincerity)
112:1Say: He is Allah, the One!
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
112:2Allah, the eternally Besought of all!
اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ
112:3He begetteth not nor was begotten.
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
112:4And there is none comparable unto Him.
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
A God who is indivisibly one and self-sufficient is alone by definition, and cannot be a God of love as to love requires relationship.

The Bible presents the oneness of God in a way that supports the doctrine of the Trinity by using a ‘composite’ unity that carries both the idea of the oneness of God who is at the same time a unity of persons.
The trinity is the foundational teaching of the Bible that God is one God, who has eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Sprit who each are fully God.
