Quran 82, Al-Infitar (The Spitting) ⓘ

82:1When the heaven is cleft asunder,

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ

82:2When the planets are dispersed,

وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انْتَثَرَتْ

82:3When the seas are poured forth,

وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ

82:4And the sepulchres are overturned,

وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ

82:5A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind.

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ

82:6O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful,

يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ

82:7Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee?

الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ

82:8Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee.

فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ

82:9Nay, but ye deny the Judgment.

كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ

82:10Lo! there are above you guardians,

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ

82:11Generous and recording,

كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ

82:12Who know (all) that ye do.

يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ

82:13Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight.

إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ

82:14And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell;

وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ

82:15They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment,

يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ

82:16And will not be absent thence.

وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ

82:17Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is!

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ

82:18Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is!

ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ

82:19A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's.

يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ
